Working with a small collection
There are fewer than 100 entries here. A batch of 50 uses more than half of the list, so a second batch of 50 must overlap the previous batch. Each individual batch still contains unique entries.
About this collection
This page uses 94 distinct entries from the supplied Korean surname list. The import is based on the local kr.txt source file. Its original publisher, collection date, and selection method have not been verified. It is a list for browsing and creative inspiration, not a complete register or a current frequency ranking.
Names may be shared across countries and communities. A result does not establish a real person's nationality, ancestry, or identity.
Frequently asked questions
Do results include Hangul or pronunciation?
No. This collection contains Latin-letter spellings only. Different spellings are kept as separate entries, without a mapping to Hangul or a pronunciation guide.
How many surname ideas can I generate?
Choose 1, 10, or 50 unique entries per batch. Generate again selects another batch and avoids the previous results when enough other entries remain.
Can I keep a shortlist?
Favorite a result to save it in this browser. Your Korean favorites are shared with the homepage when you select the same collection, and you can copy the list for your project.
